Delicious and nourishing options on the menu at Bundaleer Aged Care
Nothing brings more comfort than a hearty, nourishing meal. The current menu at Bundaleer Aged Care is offering just that and plenty of choice for residents.
The talented catering team, led by our new Chef, Nathan Smith (pictured) have been extra busy preparing delicious, warming meals using this season’s freshest produce.
In the household dining rooms, residents gather to enjoy conversation and delicious meals that warm hearts, and bellies. From slow-cooked favourites to new lighter options, there is something for everyone.
Current favourites include fish and chips and the always popular roasts, complete with fresh vegetables, delicious gravy, and of course, lots of roast potatoes.
Menus are prepared on site with lots of input from residents and reviewed by a dietitian to ensure they meet nutrition requirements. Acting Manager, Marsha, says they change regularly to ensure residents enjoy the best of each season. “We make sure we include their favourite dishes and that there are plenty of choices at every meal to cater for everyone’s individual needs and tastes,” she says. “The response to the new menu has been overwhelmingly positive, with many residents praising the comfort foods and new selections.”
